Our first meeting.
The Inaugural WCTS Annual Meeting was held on the 7th of November, 2015 at the Hensol Castle, Wales. There was a great turnout and the meeting was a resounding success. Many thanks to all who made this possible, particularly our chief guest, The Hon. Health Minister for Wales, Prof Mark Drakeford, AM.
The first WCTS annual meeting was all about bringing together the Cardio-Thoracic teams across South Wales, and the commissioners, Health Board leadership and staff. The goal was to define WCTS, describe the service and provide an opportunity for members to network with people involved with and responsible for delivering cardiothoracic services in Wales.
